Honorary Degrees

 

Nominations of candidates for honorary degrees are received throughout the year by the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs. Students, faculty, administrators, deans, alumni, and members of the general public may nominate individuals for honorary degrees.

Student Speaker Competition

 

Members of the graduating Class of 2024 are invited to enter the Student Speaker Competition for the chance to address their classmates and other members of the GW community at the university-wide Commencement on the National Mall in May.
